Needed something for cruise I took. Didn't want to spend a lot of money and this worked out great. Photos a bit washed out but once I downloaded them to my computer and opened them with PhotoShop just a click of the Auto Adjust had everyone of them looking superb.I got this camera for my kids for Christmas and they were so excited and has been taking pictures all day. They are great quality pics. We haven't yet taken it in the water yet but we will once the weather is better but they are asking to take it to all the get together to take pics of all their family and friends.The SD card is in the camera by the way. Make sure you push down and slide the the battery door forward while pushing the button down to get the door open.The camera is self is not rechargeableI bought 2 for grandchildren so haven’t been used yet. However, was disappointed to find that, despite as stated, no memory card came with the camera. I therefore had to pay more to get 2.The birthday boy loved the gift. He was using it without any problem. Easy to follow instructions.1 starWhen I was a kid a camera was called a Brownie. It took relatively awful snapshots. If it feel in the pool, in all likelihood that was the end of the Brownie.Now my grandchildren have a camera that takes pictures underwater to a depth of 3 meters. The pictures are stored on a SD card which means they are available immediately. And they are lots better than the grainy black and white images from the fifties.One camera for three kids ages 5 1/2 (the grandtwins) and three is enough. In sixty five years when they give their grandkids a camera I can only imagine how sophisticated it would seem to us now.Imagine the heartbreak when my son received the camera and despite new batteries, the item will not turn on. Dead on arrival. Heartbroken child ahead of a Christmas trip. Save your time and buy a higher quality camera elsewhere. This is absolute trash.
