My granddaughter is going to love this. Hours of fun.I LOVED all the stamps. Very cute and nice variety, that all went together. I would have preferred left out colored pencils and added more ink colors. Two colors are not enough, especially if gifting to someone who doesn't already have stamps and ink. The stamps are definately worth the cost of the kit, just be prepared to buy more ink colors.To start with, I have never used stamps personally. When I bought this set for my grandkids, I had no experience to help them. That being said, the quality of the stamps is very good. They are wood, with a rubber stamp bottom. The variety of cure designs is great. The one issue I’ve not been able to solve: How to keep the stamp pads clean during use. The ink pads seem to easily contaminate each other if the stamps are not cleaned after each use. To me, it seems a bit cumbersome. I have started giving each kids a wet paper towel to use after stamping. The older kids get it, the younger ones not so much. Maybe there is a better way to clean them, than I am aware of also, the wooden box used to store them does not have a lid. If used, the stamps are easily knocked out if it is bumped around. Still a good bye for the price.Like- The stamps are good quality, they work well and the details show up nicely.Neutral- The stamps are small so coloring them takes some concentration. The box they come in is nice, but it is a little odd that it has no lid... I will make one out of the cardboard box this came in. The pencils are no better then they ought to be, not great but I've seen worse.Dislike- The ink pad ink is very weak. The ink is 'washable' so I suppose i should have known that I would need to get my own pads. Over all i have no real complaints with this set, it is great for what i want... Play with children and making postcards.The stamps are really nice and well made, but the stamp pad barely has any ink. My daughter has to push down really hard to get any ink on the stamps and we just got it.This is a fun addition to my 3 year old's arts and crafts shelf. The images are cute and the stamps themselves are sturdy. The set comes with colored pencils, which are okay. The only issue I have with this set is the stamp pad. It's not very juicy, and not super pigmented so it's sometimes difficult for my toddler to stamp an image clearly. I had to go to a craft store and get her some non toxic washable stamp pads to use. Other than that I would say that I'm happy with this purchase!Bought for a gift. Just as expected. Would recommend.20 June 2020This was present for an 6 year old. She loved it and still plays with it to this day. The only thing we have had to replace was the ink pad.It comes with nice rubber stamps that are attached to a wood block, there is no cheap plastic in this kit. Everything is made with great quality just like all of Melissa and Doug stuff. Even all these years later this kit is still performing like the day we bought it.Fab item and quick deliveryNice stamps, bad inked pad. My daughter likes the stamps but we have to used a different inks as the ones included are really but really faint!The stamps are too small. 4-year olds do not have the dexterity to color such small images and without colouring they are very difficult to see on paper. There should be less stamps and larger designs with thicker outlines.the inkpad provided with the stamps is completely dry. it is a waste .Might have it 5 star but deserve 3.5 as price is non justifiable.... Product is good, stamps are easy to use by kids
