After decades with so many cameras, I decided to invest in something to better protect my current camera. I thought this would be a great coat for my camera to keep it safe after reading a few of the reviews. I purchased this camera due to its ability to use its USB-C slot to charge the battery in-camera AND power the camera during use. This protective cover blocks the cover where the door reveals the USB-C slot. In the pictures you can see how the seal is bent where the USB-C slot is located at bottom right. My power cord goes to this slot and powers my camera while I am shooting. Also, it was just so difficult shooting in general. The press points on the cover was hard to find with and without gloves during the current winter in my area. Even without gloves it's difficult. I really wanted to like this but I can't have that cable kinked while in use. Perhaps this would be a great protective coat for your Sony A7c but the coat's "too tight" for mine.
